Ingredients

Scale

For the sliders:

12 standard or 24 small soft white rolls (approx. 9×13″ slab)

⅓ cup American mustard

350g (12 oz) thinly sliced ham (can go up to 500g/1 lb)

250g (8 oz) Swiss cheese slices (1012 slices or your favorite melty cheese)

Onion Poppyseed Butter:

100g (7 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted

¼ onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp American mustard

1 tbsp poppyseeds

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced)

½ tsp kosher salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment or lightly grease.

Slice the rolls horizontally (keep connected if possible). Place the bottom halves in the dish.

Spread mustard on the bottom layer. Layer ham evenly, then add cheese.

Place the roll tops back on.

In a bowl, mix all onion poppyseed butter ingredients. Spoon or brush generously over the rolls.

Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes until golden and melty.
