Roasted pumpkin blends seamlessly with chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and smoked paprika, creating a silky spread that’s perfect for dipping warm pita or crunchy veggies. Topped with roasted pepitas for a toasty crunch, it’s an autumn appetizer that feels both comforting and fresh.

1 cup roasted pumpkin purée

1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained & rinsed

¼ cup tahini

2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for drizzling)

2 cloves garlic

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt, to taste

¼ cup roasted pepitas, for garnish

Instructions

Blend pumpkin, chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, and salt in a food processor until smooth.

Adjust consistency with a little water or olive oil if needed.

Spoon into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with roasted pepitas.

Serve with warm pita bread or fresh veggies.
