I first made this on a whim during a rainy evening, and it quickly became a family favorite. It’s hearty, quick to prepare, and packed with all the flavors you love from a juicy burger. Ingredients

1 cup orzo pasta

1 lb ground beef (or turkey for leaner version)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup beef broth

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup chopped pickles

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

Salt & pepper to taste

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook orzo according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add garlic, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes.

Stir in beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and cooked orzo. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until creamy.

Mix in cheddar cheese and chopped pickles. Season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
